Well it did stay dry and we managed a great ride. Made sure we headed into the wind on the way out and got blown home, well, mainly.
Did 70 miles, the last time I did that in day was about 3 years ago. My legs are feeling it now though.
I missed out on the ballot for RideLondon 100 miles so I decided to get an entry via a charity place, this has given me even more motivation to train and support a great charity. I chose Sue Ryder who provide compassionate care and support for people with palliative, long-term and end of life needs. This blog will chart my journey as I get ready for 100 miles in August. If you would like to donate and help motivate me please click my black & white photo. Many thanks Martin.
You are nearly there, very envious. My long rides have stalled. It will happen soon i'm sure.
ReplyDeleteYes it can be difficult when you have family & work getting in the way :) Stick with it and I'm sure with the current good weather you will get there.
